Programs

The Bahmann Foundation's mission is to reduce isolation of low-income, older adults through technology. This is accomplished by granting funds to non-profit, charitable organizations that provide applicable servicse in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. Foundation grants help fund programs and purchase equipment that stimulate mental and physical activity in elderly adults.

The Bahmann Foundation has recognized several methods for helping improve the conditions of low-income, elderly adults. Funded grants have helped reduce isolation through the following services:

Hearing services and devices

The Bahmann Foundation provides the latest in hearing technology to its grantees. Hearing aids from Widex, Seimens, and Starkey, assistive listening devices from Williams Sound, and professional evaluation by our Nurses and Audiologists give our recipients the best chance for success in better communication.

Education

We give presentations and provide training to small or large groups about hearing loss, using hearing aids, helping those with hearing loss, maintenance and care of hearing aids, and assistive listening devices. Presentations can be tailored for specific groups. Contact us to schedule a session.
